Adobe sin sentido
Se cierra el grifo y sigue
el agua hacia la alcantarilla,
sale el sol y cae la lluvia,
y todo el barro esparcido
por el suelo, mezclado
con polvo y porquería,
no sirve para nada.
Adobe zentzugabea
Txorrota itxi eta urak
estoldara jarraitzen du,
eguzkia irteten da eta
euria erortzen da,
eta lurrean barreiatutako
lokatz guztia, hautsarekin
eta txerrikiarekin nahastuta,
ez du ezertarako balio.
Meaningless adobe
The tap is turned off and it continues
the water into the sewer,
the sun rises and the rain falls,
and all the mud scattered
on the ground, mixed
with dust and filth,
is useless.
